When Mary received The Hole Patching Kit, she was eager to get started on an unsightly hole that was originally used to snake a telephone cord from outside to inside.

Prep time
We love a clean workspace. Mary followed the instructions in our Hole Patching Project Guide to first sand and clean the surface of the hole.
She took Wire Cutter Pliers to cut all the excess wires from the space.
Fill 'er up
Since this hole was in wood trim, Mary used wood filler. Wood filler is a thick material, so she added extra to eventually sand down later.
Using a putty knife, she smoothed the wood filler across the hole, holding the knife at about a 45 degree angle - this makes it easier to evenly fill the area.
Sand it down
After the wood filler has dried she sanded down any excess wood filler from the area and wiped down the area.
Ta da!
