BEFORE & AFTER

A tiny gallery wall goes a long way

See how Melissa added personality to her blank wall.

Before
After

A gallery wall can add an impressive design statement to any room while also giving some interest to an otherwise blank wall.

The best gallery walls are those that show personality and aren’t just like everyone else’s. We love how Melissa was able to mix and match frame sizes and styles for a more relaxed, informal feel.

Although a tiny grouping of only three frames, the color variety has a large impact on the space by tying together the surrounding hardware and furniture.

Try before you DIY

Want to see if this or any other gallery wall layout would look good on your own blank wall but are scared to commit? Trace your frames with a pen or pencil on kraft paper, newspaper, or anything large enough sitting in your paper bin. Cut out the template with a scissor and use painters tape to keep in position. Play around with the design until it looks right to you! Looking to skip the trip to the hardware store? Our Gallery Wall Hanging Kit has got you covered.
