You'll need to make sure your sink and faucet are compatible with a sprayer. If both are compatible, you can add a sprayer!
Sink: Your sink needs to have an extra mounting hole not being used by your faucet. For example, if your sink has two mounting holes and you are installing a single handle faucet, one hole will still be open for a sprayer after you install the faucet. If you know you want a sprayer, chose a faucet that requires at least one less mounting hole than your sink has. For more information of faucet types,

Faucet: Your faucet needs to have a water diverter, which is a threaded pipe that's usually capped and located between the hot and cold water supply lines.
